There's no way the BOD will accept anywhere near $1. I've spoken with enough directors over the years to know that those of the exploration / geologist persuasion don't necessarily do it for the money albeit it is a bonus. Many do it for the chase and the chance of finding a company making deposit. I would bet my left nut that these guys would be extremely reluctant to ride off into the sunset without knowing what they have under the dome. In fact I would think that they're determined to drill. It would take something special for them to let go.
