I'm very new to investing and the share market, so i do apologize for what is probably a silly question.
If this is approved and goes ahead, how does it effect my shares?
I have in my head that Company "A" buys Company "B", where "B" is merged in to "A",
I get $1.70 x my share holding, transferred to the equivalent holding of "A".
But this doesn't sound like that kind of deal/arrangement. Could someone please clarify this for me?
(P.S. I feel in that scenario, $1.70 is too low)
