i suppose they are not obliged but they did release an announcement last month about the 3 water wells being drilled and the results being sent off for analysis ...so my thoughts are that the results are probably that good and our MC has been seriously affected within the last month, so they want to keep some sort of momentum going.
They have done a trading halt before for a water well announcement i believe.
