The alternative is a mostly bullish echo chamber where downside risk is often ‘explained away’, although to be fair the SYA threads appear to have a good number of balanced holders who are willing to critique things openly (that’s pretty rare on HotCopper as I’m sure most are aware). But midst the pointless sledging, I’ve often found some non-holders provide a useful counter view without just trying to throw mud. I find people assume if one doesn’t hold (or post regularly) then they’ve done no research, whereas the truth can be quite different. Cheers
