"Institutional placement" could be a good thing. If they are getting the backing that they need then that's good, if however they are selling the family silver (I don't think Ken left anything though) and just more dilution then that's bad.
A year or two ago ANZ (I think) got involved with PEB. They paid more than the going SP at the time and it really put PEB on the radar of investors, on the back of this they went on to list on the ASX as well and raised about $100 mil for the kitty. SP has been dropping since then but they have the money that they need and no need for CRs.
Let's wait and see what they've come up with and then just laugh or cry. I've really written off my money with them so anything positive would be a bonus. My worst investment to date.
