I should be happy but I'm very concerned they've totally stuffed this.
The ASX is littered with the bodies of companies that have signed "exclusive" agreements only to have their partner file them away and do precisely nothing (competition successfully neutered). This is particularly fraught if the partner already offers competing products.
CEOs are paid well for their "expertise" but regularly fall for this trap. I'll be looking for conflicts of interest on the partner side and exactly what's in it for us to warrant making this agreement "exclusive".
That the agreement is global is even worse unless there are major sales guarantee payments to OCC as it means OCC is blocked at every turn.
Very concerned.
