Yes it has been a long road and a number of ambitious timeframes have not been met. However we do have first in class products and one with FDA approval (which very few Australian biotech’s can claim) and now to be commercialised.

With little doubt Rempier will soon follow with the bonus of the manufacturing facility established with this agreement for Striate potentially creating a fast pathway to market. Not to forget ATI that is widely used under relaxed TGA arrangements due to its efficacy, ATI could get a global partnership at any time.

The loose register has been an issue but management and directors do have significant skin in the game. It is unfortunate that our major superfunds etc are incredibly lazy and do not support local innovation at any scale whatsoever rather pumping money into overseas indexed funds or top 100, 200 companies. A percentage of our superfunds should be quarantined for support of local innovation.
