The put option isn't due till 2024, they are best to wait until the share price recovers before they capital raise for that.
The announcement stated
"The Company is seeking the trading halt pending an announcement in relation to a trading update"
It further stated: "The Company is not aware of any further information which needs to be disclosed to the market at the time of seeking the trading halt".
If they were also doing a capital raise, one would think they have a requirement to also disclose this as a capital raise and trading update are totally different things (notwithstanding that bad trading can result in the need for a raise).
