In BWX case being public listed company would be a different type of problem. BWX has history of chasing cheap sales with low margin promotions, so retailers would generally slow down purchases as they approach BWX reporting periods. So companies like BWX to achieve its ASX guidance will need to give heavy discounts to retailers. This is not a retailer problem but it has to do with lazy management i.e. addiction to cheap promo sales. I think there needs to be strong shake up of top tier management and get people who understands brand development.
