I like to be a glass half full person, otherwise why invest in a company.
Having said that, if I was a betting person I'd say a plant breakdown, they need a few days to assess repair time before updating the market. If that's the case, it probably occurred after market close Friday, so only 4 days impact this Q, in fact probably nil affect as this Qs production would already be in the CIL circuit - certainly next Q though if thats the case.
Could be the fresh rock or the oxide circuit, so may not halt production entirely. One of the reasons they did the pre strip at N'Tiola was to give them more options for source ore, should be plenty of oxide there.
Back in Feb they said they'd bring the SAG mill on over the next 12 months, so I'm not hopeful this announcement is to do with increased production because of that.
