The environmental advantages in cleaning up the countless deposits of Tailings etc., in this country and elsewhere, is the commercial kicker for this technology going forward. Govt backing etc,.

I'll give you a further clue to consider. It's not so much the prevalence of impurities, nor what the impurities are that matters. It's where the impurities are. IE., Is the AL2O3 in the impurities? Or are the impurities in the Al2O3? Think filthy Bogs v Rubies and Sapphires.
