I have no idea if LJ was in on the last stage of this disaster or not, but he certainly has to take responsibility for his part of the current mess. This has been a very long and slow death of a project that should never have been funded.

In theory the CP is supposed to be that independent 3rd party, but it would appear at times that this "independence" is somewhat flexible. For those who don't know the history, the same CP who signed off on DCN resource for the DFS was the same person who signed off on GCY DFS resource. Both resources turned out to not reconcile in the mill incinerating hundreds of millions of dollars of shareholder capital in the process. Plenty of people got rich out of both DCN and GCY, just not the poor shareholders.
