We talked about the need to raise capital 2 months ago here on Copper.
The discoveries by Total and Shell and the potential for a farmout deal has burred peoples vision despite people posting here with the knowledge of the processes that a Major undertakes before making an offer or entering a deal.
Those people told us it would take some months for the farmout process to be finalized.
We were also told that the Majors would not even begin to process the offer when the Governmental Approvals for the extension was not completed.
It was IMHO a no choice situation that the company was in, even if there is eager interest by the Majors to look at the data room.
