Yes being private has a lot of advantages vs public but its not as regulated so shit can happen and we know nothing about it.

I've heard through the grape vine that a board member has mentioned privately that the dislisting has been asked for by some of rhe major shareholders from overseas due to the valuation of LVT being ridiculously low. They see no value in continuing with asx and will look to delist and then set up a clearing house of some sort to allow any current shareholders to sell out. Once valuation rises to true valuation levels then they will look to join nasdaq.

How much of this is true I don't know and they could just be making excuses to cover up the real truth in that they don't want to get a second strike.
