A variation on Brab's themes... Ken and the Drs have no doubt had "conversations" with potential buyers, maybe while casually driving by Intel facilities in Phoenix, whenever.

Those conversations might have tended along the lines..."if you can show these metrics on an industry-standard test bed, then we need to do more than talk." And if someone has described some parameters that they would find compelling...well , you wouldn't be human if you didn't put those metrics near the top of your test program.

And if those numbers came out smelling like roses, it would make sense to tell the ASX, at the same time as calling by the florist.

Only one scenario, but I think food for thought.
