Or could they have been bombarded with requests for updates through the Investor Forum and decided to oblige?
They've only had the wafers for one week, which I would expect has provided them with time to more or less repeat imec's initial testing. I would expect little more than an update on basic functionality, i.e. they function and can be characterised. Surely 4DS wouldn't have used the term "successfully manufactured" without imec confirming they were functioning.
We might also get an update on future imec collaboration.
Or could they have been bombarded with requests for updates...
