Hi @Denial, I did call them and HostPlus (choiceplus) have informed me that I would not be entitled to a rights issue since PAR are off the ASX300.
Since they own the shares, then they set the rules about ASX300 listed companies.
Since rights issues are effectively buying more shares, their platform won't allow it for a non ASX300 company

I've expressed my great displeasure at this and have asked if there is an appeals process.
It seems there might be, and I can pursue it if an issue does take place.
I will certainly chase this up right away if an issue is announced.

Luckily I also have some shares out of super - but would really like to activate the ones in there too.

I was pretty annoyed with them; as far as I was concerned they are my shares and therefore my rights, but they were pretty firm with the terms and conditions. Something I should possibly have considered before activating choiceplus through them.
