Because the majority of people that play in the ASX microcap space are gamblers, not investors. A week is an eternity for some and God forbid having to wait a few years. Patience is a rare quality.
I live in London and it's similar on AIM but not quite as bad as the ASX. I just woke up to see HMD is raising capital. That's fine. All small companies need capital until revenue outstrips costs. It's just the norm for a start up. HMD is really a VC deal that listed too early. I'm very confident patience will be rewarded in a big way but it's not going to swiftly go to a $500M market cap.
