Long weekend in the USA this weekend so people were covering positions so they dont get hung out to dry on Monday when they aren't open but everyone else is.
Not the total cause of the down day of course but it certainly wouldn't have helped. Markets looking like testing the lows of july again or maybe at best sideways for a while.
My un educated 2 cents anyway. Bear market bounce seems done for now.
