Yes the article does say that the share sale has been farmed out to 3 brokers - but this doesn't stop Santos from snaffling the lot if they want too. Unless there is a regulatory reason why they can't.
If there isn't a regulatory reason why they can't - I can see no reason why Santos wouldn't jump at the opportunity if they are interested in buying some/all of COI.
I think this capital raising will show us exactly Santos's intentions.
Again - I re-emphasise that this is only 'Street Talk' plus there may well be regulatory considerations as to why Santos can't snaffle these shares - thus the question I posed in an earlier post.
Certainly interesting times - and I still am fascinated to know why the Share Price climbed to and held 24.5 cents before the Trading Halt.
Some folk 'in the know' bought in IMO.
