A little analogy that I recently posted elsewhere (thankfully they were Type 3)...
"I've only been investing in shares for a year or so, but, in that time, I have recognised 3 basic types of CR... (I love a metaphor ) :
1. running out of fuel in an uphill run and hoping more cash can get oil, water and air in the tyres - HORRIBLE;
2. can easily make it to the next servo... flat straight road ahead ... more cash will help to get there faster, fuel up and something for lunch then on to the "Big4" overnight - NOT SO BAD;
3. still got quarter of a tank.... the road isn't flat and straight but the scenery is awesome... the car is running like a dream... more cash could get a bigger boat on the back and a holiday house instead of a Big4 cabin - LOVELY... I AM IN THIS CR!!!"
Sorry kids but it's Type 1 and we're sleeping hungry in the car for a while yet.
