What is a typical lead time to make a placement allowing for working the traps with brokers? Would they have started this in the last run-up in the POG only to get caught by the past fortnight's slump? If the SP dipped during a gold rally, punters wold have started questioning a CR but the POG drop hid that.
At least by making a SPP, retail has been given the opportunity to participate.
