Did I claim I didn't? I also would point you to the line "I have no regrets" and "I'm not sure I actually want to blame management", which I honestly mean.
I agree in some situations stop losses are better in some situations as opposed to others. Here the rational was that they either get a deal or they don't. If they do then yipee, but I wasn't fully convinced. The return on them getting financing was worth the risk of them not getting financing so I bought in.
Poppy, stop losses are best used in binary outcomes like this. I don't like them for stocks that have long time horizons where market forces with little to do with the company can cause problems (think a financed project that may have a delay due to supply problems)
In for $5,000 at 38c, out at 30. Was in the green for a while but got greedy/ wanted to see it through to the end.
I think it's important to note the relatively small buy in which is because of the high risk I acknowledged going in.
If I am wrong on Monday I promise I will be here congratulating holders.
