Depends, but I suspect this may have been the plan all along. Retail get some, then a placement (hopefully for the same or similar price).
Either way, if there was a shortfall and this is a way to make up the rest, I'm not too upset, unless they do it for a significant discount.
Like say, 15c with attaching options.
