This is the exact attitude, from the company, that has got shareholders up in arms over the years!
A professional board wouldn't let such things derail the attendance to such a big conference. @used moggie , you say that answering any question regarding CapEx figures would be detrimental to the TNG. Well I would argue not showing up is an even poorer look. @Andy Buck points out above what an organised group, with an ounce of public optics in consideration, would do in such a situation.
The shareholders are sick of this attitude of keeping things quiet and avoiding any public communication unless it is forced.
