can confirm what? what is the deal here? i just topped up my below marketable parcel of ROO simply so I could sell it soon then it goes on a trading halt. I hope its good news and my purchase so i could sell, was a fortunately timed transaction - I haven't even paid for them yet, Interesting observation here, what if a person bought a parcel of shares simply to hold for 1 or 2 days then sell, and trading halt gets in the way and there is no funding to pay for the shares? I guess a person might be stuck or Commsec would just sell another holding to raise funds equal to the value automatically I imagine. I have the $$ in account to pay but funds haven't gone yet. I wonder if an unexpected trading halt has ever got in the way of a quick buy/sell transaction without funds in readiness to pay for the buy... an ooops moment
