"Do you think that green ammonia will replace fossil fuel derived ammonia?"
From what I've read it costs twice as much to produce green ammonia over grey. I'm not sure if that's still the case with current gas prices, however, Creek will be vertically integrated so its input costs will remain constant regardless.
Do you like the idea of paying more for something when there are cheaper alternatives available, and who will suffer the most from soaring grocery prices? I'm sure you and Idle will have the capital to still purchase your chickpea burger patties and soy "milk" lattes but there will be others who won't be so fortunate.
Green fertiliser might be the future but until it's working at scale this is all guess work. Investing in a proven method of growing food in the midst of global tensions and food shortages is not the worst idea imo.
