I have sometimes bought into a CR just to support the company and funded it by selling the same number of shares that I bought.
Surprisingly most times I have made a small profit on it- weird but true. For example bought at 10 cents and sold at 11 cents which covers brokerage- end result is the CR is supported so company gets the cash and no net cost!
Does not always work but sometimes. Cheers
