I had been thinking for a while that CLE needed to monetise its EUR stake very soon, and this definitely allows them an opportunity. I couldn't guess about the value of this development for the EUR price.. but a poster (willscott) from the CLE thread mentioned this:
'EUR will be a $A1.2bn valuation ($US750m) divided by 1.6bn shares. Thats 75c/share. Add the $A220m cash on hand, $1.42bn divided by 1.6bn shares. Thats 88c/ share. The market will value in any risk.CLE owns 65m EUR shares, so using the above numbers that's between $A50 to $A62m in value for CLE'
