How has PLS or 5.4% spod got anything to do with my comment in any way whatsoever? I haven't claimed anything, I simply quoted the actual EUR MOU announcement.
The point I was referring to is that the whole BMW offtake announcement if you actually care to read it, is regarding lithium hydroxide, NOT spodumene. EUR are nowhere near yet actually mining spodumene to process to SC6 (or 5.4 as you randomly stated), let alone refining it into lithium hydroxide! That's my point. I'm not in any way denying the massive demand for lithium of any kind right now, also look at CXO's recent ore sale as evidence of that!
My point is, this is again leading punters up the garden path, smoke and mirrors. Wolfsberg is a mine, not a hydroxide plant.
EUR are nowhere near having the actual product that this offtake MOU with BMW is actually for ! That's the point. Try actually thinking about it.
It's a MOU for a possible offtake for a product that EUR currently is totally unable to produce for the foreseeable future. BMW like all EV manufacturers are covering all their possible options is all. Where will the hydroxide plant be built Process1? How long will that take? Where is the billion dollars for that coming from? If it was an MOU for an offtake for SC6 it would at least make a little more sense imo.
That was my point, that you completely misunderstood.
