The proof of the pudding would be an amended motion at the AGM that states what Tymmsy was told.
Otherwise my guess is that it would be unwise to assume that the shares would not be issued before the deals happen.
BTW, where is Tony Sage? Perhaps he has joined the Carthusian monks, who maintain a strong commitment to solitude and silence.
