This only reinforces my view that the board have been forced into action by shareholder activism. The recent movement seems to me as much motivated by survival, as by good governance in the interests of shareholders.
All this should have happened years ago, too too slow.
And no,w if the company is really on the verge of cracking the international management, it is time to get an international board and reduce the Australian parochialism. My opinion only but I want to see an international board for stacked with international industry experience.
