It seems at first you may be correct as beyond December 2020 Quarterly we don't see much increase in the way of sales.
However, due to COVID firstly causing everyone to panic buy and then supply issues, and now inflation... I think allowing some time for the dust to settle and to see a continuation of sales figures and a trending increase Q on Q or Y on Y is only reasonable.
Interestingly, June 2022 Quarterly was where we were really hit with supply issues and according to the company, retailers had stocked up previously to allow for this which may explain larger sales in the quarterlies leading up to this point. At the same time Jewett-Cameron didn't order anything that quarter due to the rebranding of their pet waste bags (now resolved apparently).
The big one to watch is indeed this quarterly. As the company stated in their last quarterly announcement, they are now expecting their products stocked in 2000 stores in Australia (almost double that of 1200 prior to this point) and 300 US stores (double that prior to this point).
Note: This doubling of stores (almost) is not expected to double sales as this is only doubling the reach of their compostable range. However, last quarter they sold 4,065 million AU worth of compostable products. let's say they sell 50% more compostable range than the previous quarter, which equates to 6.1 million AU of compost sales, plus their traditional plastics and total could be 8.1 million AU (there's your 30% increase quarter on quarter).
Here's hoping that they have learnt from previous announcements and are indeed under promosing. Either way, the future looks bright now supply pressures are easing and Jewett-Cameron is back on the train. With new stores online, sales should also continue to increase beyond whatever we see in this quarter too.
