I’m thinking (maybe hoping) it’s a strategic investor. The wording is very different to other Cap Raise halts. They’ve always been pretty specific - Trading Halt for Capital Raise. This on the other hand is a proposed funding package.

This sounds to me like it’s a much more strategic focus, and it’s a package not a raise. So it might be something to do with future funding proposals - available to utilise as Nova steps through certain stage gates to production.

If it is a cornerstone investor it’s massive news. Removes the heavy retail investor scenario and shows they do have a path to funding a mine! That’s a huge de risk to the project, and could be more important than the drill results. It might also finally vindicate the consolidation decision, and Management putting money where their mouths are. They’ve been saying they have a lot of interest from the big end of town, it may finally come to fruition.
