Not sure how this helps any shorts unless they sorthed at $3 plus. Even if the discount is at $1.90 it wouldn't, I imagine help to many out of their position.
What it will do is remove the doubt about cash on hand and allow growth to ramp up. Dilution should be minimal around this price.
