Spot On -- and it is unlikely to be (1) because they would just announce it - there would be no reason to have a trading halt.
The TH is to stop people from profiteering from inside info, which has already been happening -- so DC has done the right thing by putting a stop to this by calling a TH.
And I agree with multiple announcements -- DC is very adept at, and has a history of releasing multiple announcements in a short time frame, in order to build share price momentum.
