Roughly the same with me -- 42% of my holdings.
Purely because, after the CR in April at 27c, it removed all my remaining concerns - about dilution - and then when it went back to 14c, after sophs and institutions had paid twice that, I couldn't believe how dumb people were.
At that price, I thought it was the biggest free kick i have and will ever get on the sharemarket (I started in 1986), so I basically had no choice but sell some stuff i didn't want to and loaded up as much as i dared.
When a once in a lifetime opportunity stares you in the face, it is almost disrespectful to ignore it, and you have an obligation to make the most of it.

PS. I'd particularly like to re-iterate your last line... NEVER GIVE UP, you'd be surprised what can happen if you stay in the game!
