thinking about it further and I agree with you. If it's your standard CR, the question would by "why right now?"
With $70m in the bank and the $185m loan in progress (PEPR satisfied a big condition of that) I can't imagine why they would need the extra cash just right now. If CAPEX costs are high as outlined in the ongoing BAM then why not raise later on when there's a good chance the SP is higher than it is today?
I'm sure many of us saw the recent QPM announcement where the CAPEX cost was astronomical. Even if ours were to increase 50% from previous studies that would only bring it up to approx $300m I think. So again, why raise that extra bit now ($300 - $70 - $185 = $40m~) when they can simply do it right before FID?
