They drilled down-dip of a 20m wide pegmatite that is very clearly showing defined lenses of Li2O mineralisation (appears to be spodumene) and distinctly unmineralised zones with the pegmatite. The mineralised zones contained very fine-grained (problem for DMS separation; would need to go floatation route with very fine crush size) relict spodumene (i.e. weathered as would be expected near surface for the Pilbara) so lower grade spodumene and a nightmare for DMS separation. Market reaction is understandable when you examine the results.
