It's worth bearing in mind that there remains a large net short position on SBM.
Heaven forbid the price would run on this announcement!
Might it be in the interests of these non-holders to devalue the merits of such a deal and to belittle the parties involved?
Who knows, perhaps we even have a few of them here.
