Melburnian, diorite is high grade. Generally they are low tonnage.
It is possible the historic working were on leeders. Often these are sub 6" and above the water table.
Companies in the past were looking deeper, for under collivium gold with rab.
To me there is a source to the high grade, but most likely its deeper.
I do not know if soils were done of the collivium cover there to try and pinpoint a trend.
