The Mudloggers Chromatograph will only be calibrated for C1 through to C5 and usually these machines are programmed for a 3-4min analysis.

Determination of sample type is done at site with basic measurements (eg API for liquids) and a quick run through Mudloggers gas equipment. For water a field Rw measurement to double check water is formation water and not filtrate or filtrate contaminated.

Ive worked a few offshore jobs where we had a full laboratory and personnel on site who can do a full analysis of samples but I doubt IVZ have same set up for this well.
