Interesting that the Antinomy is richest in the East Zone, where gold is weakest.
For comparison in the Melbourne Zone in Victoria where the Costerfield Au/Sb deposit is, the Sb cuts out with depth - indicating that the two metals were deposited from the mineralising fluids under different conditions. You might like to also check out SXG (which I hold) because the same happens there. it is a hundred km or so south of Costerfield and Forsterville. No resource there yet but will blow the top when it is calculated IMO.
Antimony has wide usage - alloyed with lead in lead-acid batteries, as a fire retardant in paints and in glass and ceramics. Its compounds are toxic.
But its main use as a critical metal today is as a constituent in the glass of solar panels, and as a surface layer. When the billions of solar panels in use today are finally discarded because of age they will create a waste problem orders of magnitude higher than the disposal of low and medium level nuclear reactor waste. Someone who cracks the recycling code will do well. Hope so.
That is just one more example of the consequences of the foolish rush into decarbonisation.
All IMO and personal opinion. OK?
