If reasons for Laybuy delisting on ASX include takeover, merger, transfer to a different stock exchange or privatisation, this can deliver good news to existing shareholders like myself.
However, if the reasons include bankruptcy or reduce listing fees, this is bad news for us even if this delisting is voluntary. Both reasons for delisting is very unlikely.
What I observed for the stock is that the share price has dropped to dangerously low levels since there was poor company performance in the past compared to now and there is currently low liquidity levels, which is very low volume.
