Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. Most of my peers that invest in the stock market that I talk to (I'm an older rooster) won't invest in mining companies outside tier-1. They would rather invest in companies that retail shoes, fat woman's clothes, junk jewelry to teenagers, bed sheets and towels and on and on. Fair game too, there's always a buck to be made, especially in a bear market where the most beaten down stocks can jump thirty to fifty percent off the bottom.
The market caters for every shape, colour and flavour. Investing is no different to other aspects of life. You've got to engage with what interests you.
