I've seen the term sheet for the bonds, and it promises an equity raise. That makes sense - bond holders want a little more juice in the tank in case it all goes pear-shaped.
What I expected, was that the bond funding would be complete and in escrow and they could go to the market saying, we've got the finance, just need a bit more from shareholders. In that scenario, the CR could have been above the halt price. I'd pay more for the certainty that we will have an operating mine.
I don't know what is proposed now. Maybe it's just a small placement to buy some time.
