People seem not to understand that the bet in 2020 was for WWI to proceed with what was originally planned.

1. Get those open pits online mining, we had 5 open pits

2. AfterAfter 2 years start UG mining

3. Whilst doing so increasing the resource to create more value

Unfortunately, above didn't materialise as open pits was remove to facilitate Mining right to be granted sooner.

Is it delusional when it could have gone the other way?

Imagine the open pits funding the studies, drilling, and eventually rehab of the adits and part of the initial capex for the UG ops.

There was a chance. Again unfortunately it did not materialise.
