The headlines in that article "Big Pharma Interest............" attracts attention, but if my interpretation is correct Matt is saying "Ok we are ready for an offer now in regards to SP, so put your cards on the table or get left behind".
I expect the company to say "yes we have spoken to a number of large Pharmas and are now ready to accept offers for partnership deals but we are prepared to go it alone, because we have the experience"
