Pure speculation: In my opinion, I thinks the odds are pretty good that the placement is likely to go to holders who have no interest in selling anytime soon. Therefore, limited overhang and the effective free float doesn't change. If an SPP or rights issue is included for us mugs, how does one recycle their cash to participate without destroying the price due to limited liquidity? For this reason, I think they'll probably head down the institution/existing large holder route.
In spite of the VAN holders all receiving their CYL shares, we haven't seen much downside action. The fearmongers were wrong yet again on that one.
