Well, I'll have a go. I reckon the negotiations behind this trading halt have been going on for a while and have just been agreed to and signed off.
Someone wants a stake. Hopefully a hitter from BP. They're getting JC shares and his board seat. No downside from JC leaving because the hitter is a legend. Onward.
